I’m Officially a Blogger, Now!

Honestly, I didn’t think I’d ever get around to adding a blog to SRC.  I mean, really.  Who has the time to figure out yet another software package and user interface while trying to catch up on family albums, kids albums, wedding albums (13 years late!) and the odd gift album for the in-laws?  I really didn’t — have the time, that is. 

But.

I wanted to communicate in real time without having to open up an HTML editor, find the relevent page, code it, save it, FTP it in another program, then go back to fix whatever I messed up when I made a tiny, little change to one, little link.  Anyway, you get the idea, right?  The old way was getting to be a hassle.

So… I’m going to start showing off some of the work I’ve been doing lately and that includes some of the designing I’ve been doing. 

If you’ve stayed with me through the years, you might have picked up that I’ve converted to digi-scrapping.  As in full-blown, no-holds-barred, down & dirty, thrown out the adhesives digital scrapbooking.  Since I made my first page last October for a gift album for my MIL, I haven’t created a single page in the traditional way.

What this means is that I’m a bit more interested in digital techniques than those that involve getting my hands covered in glue and glitter (though I still have a soft spot for glitter and have no plans to toss my stash to the curb).
