High-Quality Pocket Camera
The one question I see more than any other is “What camera should I buy?” I’ve always responded to this question with several questions of my own - “How big are your hands?” “Do you have any physical limitations?” “What kind of pictures to you plan to take?”
These are only a few of the questions you need to answer when you’re considering a new camera. After all, for many, the decision to spend that much money is rather momentous.

Now, if the camera you want is one that fits in your pocket but you still want high quality, I actually have a recommendation. The Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ3 is so full of function and ability you’d expect it to weigh a ton. It’s a pocket camera with 10x Leica optics, for goodness’ sake!
This little camera weighs in at a mere .51 pounds, fits easily in a purse or pocket, has a self-closing lens cover, a 3-inch LCD panel and comes in black, silver and blue. Those are only the physical characteristics.
It shoots JPG in 7.2 megapixels, records movies with sound, supports auto-bracketing, burst shooting at up to 3 frames per second in standard rsolution mode and has several color modes built in for easy selection.
It operates with an included lithium-ion battery that will continue through up to 270 shots and continuously shows your battery life in the on-screen display. The TZ3 records to SD media cards, though it includes 12.7 megs of onboard memory, as well. It will perform best with a faster SD card, so don’t scrimp when it comes to purchasing these.
You won’t confuse this camera with a DSLR, by any means, but sometimes you just don’t have the time, space or energy to haul out your “big guns.” This one fills in nicely.
Tell me all about your camera - your current camera or your “dream” camera. I want to know what you like about it and what frustrates you.
