Visions of Sugar Cookies…

I’ve been in a creative slump lately and I don’t know what it’s going to take to get out of it.  I took up crochet again to see if I could reboot my brain with an alternative art form but all I got was an ecstatic 8-year-old who is thrilled to finally have a scarf of the perfect length.  While I’m very happy to make my little one happy, I’m still in the armpit of creativity.

I managed to squeak out my SUAS layout but the continual lack of response to my layouts has made me lose my excitement in the contest.  I’ll finish it, but I have to admit it’s only because not participating until the end feels a little like stealing because I got the special price and discount coupons for committing to the contest. 

As usual, opening Photoshop to scrap has resulted in another alpha.  I suppose if I can’t find my own mojo I should take pleasure in providing elements for you to scrap.

As you can see, I’m anticipating the Christmas season (there’s only about 9 weeks to go!) and I’ll probably complete at least two or three more alphas in this theme before I move on to the next season or holiday.  If you’ve got requests, I’d love to hear them!
