Took a Break and Went to Berlin
Didn’t post yesterday because we had to drive to Berlin to pick a friend up from the airport. He’s in town, visiting from France.
We made a day of it, picking him up, dropping off one of our cameras for repairs, grabbing lunch and infusing my body with the heavenly taste of Starbuck’s - a non-fat, grande Mocha, with whip. We still don’t have a Starbuck’s in Dresden, so every trip to Berlin (or anywhere else, for that matter) involves a stop into Starbuck’s for my favorite vice.
And look what we saw!
Isn’t it the cutest little thing you’ve ever seen? The gray shape behind it is a motorcycle - taller than the car! And how about that for parking? Let me just say this, parking is Berlin is a sport. You’ve got to be in tip-top shape to score a space in the busiest parts of this city and tiny cars rule!
Now, I’m not so sure about the comfort level of a car this small. I’ve driven the Mini-Cooper and it’s not all that easy to find a position that doesn’t cramp you up a bit and it’s like the BIG brother to this car! But it’s soooo cute!
Okay, I’m sorry about the off-topic but I just wanted to share that and get myself back in the blogging mood.
TschĂĽss!
