This Doesn’t Have to be Hard
This week we’re working on the fifth and sixth challenges. These were really inspirational for me and allowed me to finally get around to scrapping a couple of layouts I’d been planning forever. The first, number five, was sponsored by Digitals and we were told to feature an inteview with an inanimate object and include a minimum of four questions and answers. As I mentioned before, Jen and I were psychically linked for this one. See for yourself…
Jen’s…
… and mine…
When I mentioned BunBun to my teenager, we shared a laugh about the absurdity of names and the coincidence of scrapbooking serendipity. And not only did we both interview our child’s stuffed friend, we both used the Shabby Princess Promise kit.
Sweet Shoppe Designs brought us our sixth challenge. I felt a bit blindsided by this one and worried that I’d never be able to do it but I left it a couple of days then gave it another look. Our challenge was to choose a member of our team to complete the challenge then she’d do a “Spin-a-Lift”. Follow the link to the Sweet Shoppe for a much better description of the challenge but, essentially, our team’s designee, had to choose one of the layouts from the other’s gallery and scraplift it in another direction. Additionally, the subject had to be the complete opposite of the inspirational layout.
Here’s our official entry …
… and the inspiration by Jen…
Like I said, these two challenges gave me the push to complete a couple of layouts that I’d been wanting to do for a very long time. My son’s six years old now and I’m only now scrapping the toolbelt pictures from when he was two! If you’re not participating, you should consider playing along if you’re feeling blocked. It’s really helping me.
TschĂĽss!
