Had a Productive Day!

June 15th, 2008

Actually, my whole weekend was pretty productive, but I’m not counting all the templates right now because I’m still working on my goal of completing my daughter’s album before she leaves for the states.

I completed another three templates yesterday and five pages today.  Yes - five.  I couldn’t believe it myself but I was on a roll and I couldn’t quit.

It helped that my younger daughter was finally home from the hospital, fully recovered, and I wasn’t spending time at her bedside. (They ended up extending her stay by another day because she was suffering headaches and nearly fainted during her eye exam.) It also helped that today was rainy and cool and I just felt like creating.

So, here’s what I got done…

These use two of the templates I completed this weekend and supplies include papers and elements from the January 2008 Songbird Avenue kit, a branch by ON Designs, papers by Shabby Princess (my favorite free kit ever - Promise) and an alpha by me (recolored).  This time I didn’t do a single thing to modify the templates, which is probably how I managed to get so many pages done!

This one was a total scraplift of a template challenge I found on one of the Designer Digitals blogs and I even used papers and frames by Katie Pertiet.  The alpha is by Kim Hill.  Sorry, no template forthcoming from this one but if you really like it, you can pick up a very similar 2-page template at Designer Digitals.  It even includes some nifty file folder labels, a journaling block and a total of six spaces for photos.

And finally, this is the last one of the day.  I used another of my new templates, papers from Tracy Ann and TMONE and a ribbon from Vickie Stegall.  And now Ich bin kaputt and I’m heading for bed.  I’ll stop by tomorrow to give you another new template.

Well, I’m loving your templates. Fantastic! Thanks so much for being such a creative, generous sort (and thanks to Ikea Goddess for picking out the bestest freebies on the web!). Love your Barcelona page, too, and I can SO relate to the caffeine high and absurd dreams…
